Exactly 10 lb is in the first tier; exactly 25 lb is in the second; exactly 50 lb is in the third. The $70 charge replaces the $30 charge for the highest tier; they are not added together. Prices are in USD. For each road mile beyond the first 5, add $7 scheduled, $8 same-day or $9 rush. Additional service charges, tolls and parking may apply; dispatch confirms the final total before acceptance.
Over 50 lb, oversized items, palletized loads and special handling require a custom quote. Dimensions and safe vehicle fit must be confirmed.
Cargo-van work uses the service-level, weight and distance framework; there is no hourly van charge or two-hour van minimum under this schedule. Additional stops, waiting, helpers, after-hours work, tolls and parking may affect your total. Recurring routes are quoted separately.
A clear quote example
A same-day shipment traveling 45 road miles and weighing 10 lb or less starts at $498: $178 base fare + 40 additional miles × $8. This is before any agreed additional service charges, tolls or parking.
What can change the final total?
Extra stops, waiting, helper labor, stairs, restricted building access, after-hours or weekend service, and special handling are reviewed with dispatch. Provide these details when requesting a quote. Tolls and commercially necessary parking are passed through at actual cost unless included in a written rate.
Recurring business routes
Mailroom cycles, repeat lanes and multi-stop routes may have a separate written quote based on the schedule and volume. An agreed contract or route rate takes precedence for the covered work.
